District 8 Spelling Bee Congratulations to BCMS 8th grader, Shereen Farooq, for winning the District 8 Spelling Bee held Saturday, Feb. 25th at Waycross College. Shereen beat 24 competitors from the surrounding area and won by spelling the word "insidious" correctly. She will now advance to the State Spelling Bee to be held on March 16th in Atlanta at Georgia State University. Congratulations and best of luck in the upcoming event! |
